• Sweden and Finland began partaking in NATO’s annual Baltic Sea exercise on Sunday, amid Turkey’s opposition to their membership in the US-led military alliance. The US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley joined Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson in Stockholm aboard USS Kearsarge, and said the visit demonstrates a common commitment “in the rules-based international order.”
