Rana Uludağ gets endless energy from the music and spends most of her days at her home office working on a project we will get to hear in 2022. What’s in her lunchbox nowadays?
- Reading about music and poetry is what inspires me the most nowadays. Organic Music Societies published by Blank Forms, The Wire magazine, the Poetry Foundation website, and @poetryisnotaluxury Instagram account are among my current obsessions.
- I am back to reading sheet music after many years, and I am in a place where I enjoy expressing myself by writing out rhythm sequences. Mark Guiliana’s Exploring Your Creativity on the Drumset and Billy Martin’s Riddim: Claves of African Origin books are my guides.
- Since we are in a transitional period, I am only dreaming of these but kite surfing and snowboarding are the two necessities for me to feed my soul.
- Chatting with the incredibly creative people around me, dancing, eating, meeting new people, jam sessions that come out of nowhere, enchanting concerts, and New York!
