• A former Twitter employee was found guilty of spying for the government of Saudi Arabia by a federal jury in San Francisco. Ahmad Abouammo, who managed media partnerships in the Middle East and North Africa at Twitter, shared personal information belonging to the dissidents of the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman with government officials between 2014 and 2015. Abouammo received hundreds of thousands of dollars and a luxury watch in return.
