• IHS Markit’s flash composite PMI jumped to 55.8 in November from 54.2 in October, exceeding all forecasts. A score above 50 indicates growth. Highlights: Growth in Germany’s private sector accelerated slightly while persistent supply bottlenecks in manufacturing continued to weigh on factory output, and French business activity expanded faster than expected as the services sector saw its quickest growth in almost four years.
