Its name is derived from Daniel Defoe's character "Robinson Crusoe," hence known as "Rob389."The place where I queued with my cousin at its narrow entrance: İnci Profiterol.&nbsp;Established in 1944 by Lucas Zigoridis, this historic pastry shop is located on Mis Sokak in Beyoğlu's İstiklal Caddesi, within the Cercle D’Orient building.The spot with its ivy-clad facade that captivates me in every season: Özkonak.&nbsp;Founded in 1963 by Ahmet Tak as a pudding shop, it evolved into a lokanta offering various dishes alongside dairy desserts starting in 1987. Located in the neighborhood of Cihangir, it closed on December 31, 2021.The spot where I yearn to lounge in its courtyard, enveloped in the scent of spices:&nbsp;Zencefil. Offering tranquility with its small garden, it is one of İstanbul's first restaurants mainly serving vegan and vegetarian cuisine, located on Kurabiye Sokak. Following restoration from 2018 to 2020, it reverted to its original single large hall.Where I indulged in literary dreams, evoking Demir Özlü: Lebon. Established in 1810 on İstiklal Caddesi by Edouard Lebon, this pastry shop closed in 1972, only to reopen with a new patent in 1985 until October 29, 2022.Where I toasted with friends, reminiscing about Tezer Özlü: Refik.
