• Mercedes-Benz and Stellantis announced agreements with the US-based Factorial Energy to help develop solid-state battery technology that will help make electric cars more attractive to a mass market. Mercedes said it’s also joining forces with Factorial to develop batteries for testing prototype cells as early as next year.
