2021 of istanbulberlin at a glance...

• In April 2021 the first issue of istanbulberlin Route landed in mailboxes. I am so glad to be a part of Aposto! community and this new media understanding.
• I started to work with interns in September. It is great not to be alone and learn together. Our skeleton crew grows slowly but surely.
• The very first comprehensive project of istanbulberlin #60JahreMusik took place. Here is what happened with numbers:
  • The project reached out to as of today. The impact of the project will keep increasing since its contents will remain published online.
  • In this research project, a source of meaningful, persistent and online music-culture history emerged that is enriched by the interviews with around 40 musicologists, music critics and musicians.
  • Within the scope of this project, a total number of 30 written contents shared at the website with “brief” migration stories linked to the music in addition to the 7 articles and 7 interviews.,
  • The first event of istanbulnberlin was held in Berlin with participation of approximately 150 people and broadcasted live on different social media channels. 6 videos have been shared at the istanbulberlin’s YouTube channel.
  • The project has been appeared in the press on 13 different media channels in both Turkey and Germany. And I gave my first English TV interview, what a thrill!
