• Thousands of religious and right-wing opponents of queer rights in Serbia marched through Belgrade to protest against the upcoming EuroPride march on Sept. 17 , the largest LGBTQ+ event featuring a Pride parade on the continent. Even though the country's President Aleksandar Vučić also said that the scheduled event would be "canceled or postponed," EuroPride organizers have vowed that it will go ahead, and various EU leaders showed support for the event to go on.
