• The next Mac Pro could come with new “M2 Ultra” and “M2 Extreme” chips that have 24 and 48 CPU cores, along with 76 and 152 GPU cores, respectively, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. That’s compared to the base M2, which comes with 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores, and the rumored M2 Max, which will supposedly feature 12 CPU cores and 38 GPU cores.

• AMD announced Ryzen 7000 at Computex 2022, its new generation of CPUs with Zen 4 architecture that will require a new AM5 motherboard to run. With chips based on a 5nm process, the CPU is designed to support DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 out of the box, boasting a 5.5GHz clock speed.
