• Bidders consider offering Toshiba up to 7000 yens (€50) per share to take the troubled Japanese conglomerate private in a deal valuing the company at about $22 billion, Reuters reported. Toshiba shares closed 3.54% up in Tokyo on the news. • Unilever has agreed to sell its global tea business to CVC Capital Partners for €4.5 billion, concluding a process that took more than two years. The business being sold, called Ekaterra, hosts a portfolio of 34 tea brands including Lipton , PG Tips, Pukka Herbs and TAZO, and generated revenues of €2 billion in 2020.
