• Denmark expects to cut carbon emissions by 3.7 million tons of before 2030 by changing the way it taxes companies for emissions. Planning to reduce emissions by 70% before 2030, Denmark will charge companies up to $165 per ton of CO2, the government said.

• Danish multinational pharmaceutical Novo Nordisk has announced it will invest 17 billion Danish crowns (€2.29bn) into increasing its production capacity in Denmark by building three new manufacturing plants, and the expansion of an existing facility in the country.
