The book contains collection of stories, essays, and street photography spiced with a solid dose of recipes coming straight from the local markets. Tourists visit Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar but inhabitants of Istanbul hardly perceive those places as marketplaces. The choice of the markets is very selective and covers some parts of the city, which existence reveal Istanbul’s complexity - Kasımpaşa İnebolu Pazarı, Samatya Pazarı,&nbsp;Eminönü Pazarı, Balık Pazarı in Beyoğlu,&nbsp;Tarlabaşı Pazarı,&nbsp;Kadıköy Cuma Pazarı&nbsp;and Feriköy Pazarı. It is a small but rather a good list to start getting to know the city and explore it on your own.</blockquote>
