Welcome to Piccolo, a magazine that has a keen interest in Children's and Young Adult Literature. 🚀 Dearest reader, you might be a time traveler, pirate, fairy, magician, or mermaid. You don't have to say it — but I want you to know that your secret is safe with me. 💭 I wonder if this happened to you too: Did grown-ups insist you read&nbsp;Of Mice and Men while your heart was beating for Dear Dumb Diary? Or perhaps did they judge your reading habits even though you've finished every volume of Les Aventures de Tintin? Or were you left with the lines of John Keats when you expressed your desire to examine Peter Pan closely? If so, come closer, we're in this together. 🖍 Some details if I got your attention: Piccolo will be published every Sunday at 2 pm. Throughout the issues, Piccolo will blend the reflections of popular culture with fan culture; academic approaches will literally take you by the hand and drag you into the land of the Lost Boys, the world of the Second Star to the Right, —of course— with the help of Tinker Bell's fairy dust. Piccolo,&nbsp;ergo, examines intertextual gender equality by reading the world of Children's and Young Adult Literature in the context of cultural management from a sectoral and intellectual perspective; by attributing problematics to the ageist perspective, it meets its readers with an ageless understanding of Children's and Young Adult Literature.
