How does Slush stand out from other technology and entrepreneurship events?

While in Helsinki, I had the opportunity to learn about Slush's history from someone who has been volunteering here for the past 10 years and is currently leading the community at Bolt. In 2008, four friends, Miki Kuusi, Atte Hujanen, Peter Vesterbacka, and Ville Vesterinen, organized the first conference to bring together local entrepreneurs and investors. This small gathering gradually evolved into a global event, attracting startups from all over the world.

While listening to the story, I deeply felt what distinguishes Slush from similar conferences: It's the vibrant sense of community and collaborative spirit that shines through. In this space, it's not just ideas being exchanged; volunteers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders are also sharing their experiences and passions, weaving a rich tapestry of inspiration and connection.
