• European music streaming service Deezer was valued at $1.1 billion as it goes public via an SPAC deal, merging with blank-check company I2PO in its second attempt to receive public funding. Deezer had backed out of its initial IPO attempt in 2015 on concerns that music streaming wasn't a lucrative business.

• Azerion , an Amsterdam-based digital entertainment and media company, was listed on Euronext Amsterdam in a successful IPO, raising €93 million at a €1 billion market capitalization. Azerion agreed in December to be bought by a SPAC run by former Commerzbank CEO Martin Blessing, and received €56 million to be used for growth and acquisitions as part of the deal.

• German smart home energy startup Tado will be going public via a €450-million SPAC on the Frankfurt exchange with the help of GFJ ESG Acquisition , the company said. Looking ahead… The company is expected to be listed in the first half of the year as they said an investment round of $46 million (€40mn) in May would be their last before going public.

• Symbotic , a warehouse and supply chain efficiency platform used by Walmart, will go public with SVFC, a SoftBank-affiliated SPAC valued at $5.5 billion (€4.8bn), the company said in a statement. The deal is expected to conclude in the first half of next year.
