• Volvo is preparing to convert all its mainstay models, three SUVs, and two sedans, into electric vehicles and to introduce a luxury electric van. The Swedish carmaker, 82%-owned by China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, is expected to launch at least six new battery electric vehicles through 2026. • Volkswagen is retooling its main factory in Germany to make two additional electric models as Europe’s biggest automaker tries to turn around its EV push that has been plagued by internal discord and software fumbles. • Subaru unveiled its first all-electric SUV, the Solterra, developed together with its biggest shareholder, Toyota. The front-wheel drive Solterra has a cruising range of 530 km, while the all-wheel drive (AWD) version can travel 460 km on a single charge.
