Anıl Eraslan "Eponj" Feat. Michael Zerang: Berlin based trio Eponj is coming together with Michael Zerang on drums for a new and strong improvisation experience. On March 18th at 8.30 pm at Borusam Music House, Istanbul.
Das IST Berlin: Das Ist Berlin is a party based on the "contradictory and independent" techno music that flourished after the fall of Berlin Wall and "Berlin culture". DJ İpek İpekçioğlu is also playing! It will take place at RX Istanbul on March 24th, with the motto, whatever happens in Berlin, stays in Berlin.
Santi & Tuğçe'den Tiger's Den: "Tiger's Den": the first single from Santi & Tuğçe's, musical duo living in Berlin, upcoming album. It will be released on March 18, 2022 via Kybele Records. The music video is taking place in Istanbul and Berlin, where the track was made and they wanted to draw attention to street animals in Istanbul.
Remix Germany: A Post Migration Hip Hop Narrative: Murat Güngör & Hannes Loh will give a reading performance on March 12th at 8 pm in Berlin Ballhaus Naunynstraße. We published an interview with rapper and one of the founders of anti racist Kanak-Attak Murat G. on the birth of Turkish hip hop in Germany.
VISIT
Ayşe Erkmen, "Israr": Artist living in Istanbul and Berlin, Ayşe Erkmen's solo exhibition "I Insist" can be visited until March 27th at Dirimart. Erkmen insists on transforming the space with its own possibilities and to keep the conversation going.
Aykan Safoğlu, "Teneffüs": Artist living in Berlin and Vienne, Aykan Safoğlu has an exhibition at SALT Istanbul, until April 24th. He graduated from a German high school in Istanbul and examines the traces of German education and strict dicipline on his life in the basis of gender and migration.
26. Filmfestival Türkei Deutschland: Every year a Turkish German film festival takes place in Nuremberg Germany, this year the dates are between 11-20.

Emine Sevgi Özdamar, "Ein von Schatten begrenzter Raum" (A Space Bordered by Shadows): The new novel by Emine Sevgi Özdamar was published in November 2021 and has been awarded with Bayerischer Buchpreis 2021. It is now one of the five novels of 2022 Leipzig Book Fair Award in the category of fiction. It focuses to a women immigrating to Europe from Istanbul during 1971 Turkish military memorandum.
Sabine Adatepe, "Lichtblau #Mavi" (Blue): Author and translator Sabine Adatepe's new book entitled "Lichtblau" is published by Größenwahn Publishing House. The book brings three generations and two countries, Turkey and Germany together.
