• Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited the recently recaptured eastern city of Izium, one of the largest cities gained back in a lightning counter-offensive, Ukraine's military said. Zelenskiy promised "victory" while comparing the devastated city to Bucha, where killings and abuse of Ukrainian civilians by Russian forces were exposed after they withdrew.
