• Ukrainian port city Mykolaiv and the country’s second-largest city Kharkiv were hit by Russian shelling on Saturday. Ukrainian authorities said a child was killed and five people were injured in the region around Mykolaiv, and one person was killed and two injured in Kharkiv during the attacks. Pavlo Kyrylenko, governor of the eastern Donetsk region where Russian forces have been trying to take full control, said four people were killed in shelling on the same day.
