🇺🇦 On The Ground Russian forces launched new attacks on the outskirts of Kyiv and the northern city of Chernihiv, two areas where Russia had pledged to scale back military operations to help negotiations along. Russian shelling hit homes , libraries, and other civilian areas in Chernihiv and Kyiv outskirts, Ukraine officials said. Russian troops redeployed units from other areas for attacks around the eastern city of Izyum and the Donetsk region.
