• Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz refused to support growing calls for an EU-wide ban on issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens, although some EU countries have started to bring their own visa restrictions. Scholz stressed: "This is not the war of the Russian people. It is Putin's war and we have to be very clear on that topic."
