On the other hand, the change was criticized as a "major weakening" of the proposed legislation.

• Elon Musk filed an appeal to a judge's refusal to end his 2018 agreement requiring a Tesla lawyer to vet some of his posts on Twitter, signed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). • Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk acquired a 9.2% stake in Twitter for $2.89 billion (€2,63bn), becoming one of the company's largest shareholders days after he protested that Twitter was limiting free speech and hinted that maybe "a new platform" is needed.
