Discussions on the Leadership of CHP
The behavior of opposition party elites, especially within the CHP, following the electoral defeat, demonstrates that undemocratic principles and practices in Turkey are not exclusive to the ruling party but can also persist within opposition parties.
• Slovenia 's The Freedom Movement , the opposition liberal party, won the parliamentary elections, securing 34% of the votes compared with the right-wing populist PM Janez Jansa's ruling Slovenian Democratic Party with around 24%. Voters have shown strong interest in the elections, with a turnout of 64% compared with the 52% from the previous election.

• Palestinians held municipal elections in the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Saturday with a 46% turnout of the 400,000 Palestinians who were eligible to vote.
